Once again the golfing tournament of the year is upon us. Yes, it’s the Iceland Open... Okay, so I hadn’t heard of it before either, but playing 18 holes through the midnight hour seems like an intriguing experience, especially because Iceland experiences pretty much 24 hours of sunlight at this time of year.
The tournament is open to amateurs and professionals alike, so even if your handicap is higher than your blood pressure you can still enter. Registration for the tournament is only open for another 24 hours with the actual tournament opening tomorrow night. With a three hour flight time to Iceland, you can still skive off work and make it in time for tea in the clubhouse and a couple of practice rounds before tee-off.
