Book Your Landsmot Tickets Early and Receive 20% Off
The ticket sale has started!
The online ticket sale for Landsmót 2012, held in Reykjavík from June 25th-July 1st, has started. The tickets are sold online, at www.landsmot.is and it is a simple way to purchase your ticket and get a 20% discount of the full price at the same time. Week passes and tickets for youngsters will be sold online but weekend passes and day tickets will only be sold at the gates once Landsmót has started. Tickets for children 13 years and younger are free of charge. The guests of Landsmót can also purchase tickets online for grandstand seats and caravan spaces with access to electricity.
The online discount is available until January 1st 2012. Each bought ticket before Christmas time will also be valid as a lottery ticket.
The 2012 Landsmót will be held at the showgrounds at Víðidalur, in the middle og Reykjavík the capital of Iceland. The program at the Landsmót is full and varied, and everyone should be able to find something of interest. There are various classes of competition ranging from the children’s class, with riders 13 years old and younger, up to the A and B classes, where top riders and horses display all the different gaits of the Icelandic horse.
Top-level breeding horses (mares and stallions) are also shown, and groups from breeding farms and the best tölt competition horses in the country. Other entertainment is also available in the form of music, dancing, singing and mixing with an international crowd of horse enthusiasts.
