Delta Daily New York to Iceland Flights in 2011!


Keflavik AirportDelta has announced new nonstop service between New York and Reykjavik, Iceland, beginning June 1, 2011. When service begins, Delta said it will be the only U.S. carrier to serve Iceland nonstop from the U.S. The daily flights will depart New York’s JFK Airport at 11:35 in the evening and land at Keflavik Airport in Iceland at 9:20 am the next day. Returning flights will depart from Iceland at 10:50 am and land in JFK at 12:55 pm.

Tickets are currently available for purchase from Delta, and will be available at other ticketing channels beginning Saturday, Aug. 14.

The flight between Kennedy International and Keflavik International will be operated with a 170-seat Boeing 757-200 aircraft with 15 seats in BusinessElite and 155 seats in Economy.
