ESPN goes Surfing in Iceland

Iceland is most easily described of the land of fire and ice, it's natural beauty and rugged conditions seem to keep pulling me back for more. With three trips to the island of Iceland I keep finding more reasons to return to this foreign land that feels more like another planet instead of another country. Each journey along Iceland's coast brings an experience rich in wide open spaces and waves, along with an appreciation for the isolation that exists out there. When you travel in the U.S. to some of our natural wonders, you're limited by the barbwire fences and restricted access signs ... in Iceland, everything is tangible and open for you to experience. Enjoy a brief look into the untouched and uncharted waters of Iceland's coast, and the insane waves that exist there.
